Installation

Prerequisites

Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements:

• ExpressionEngine 7 or later (Breaking change in v2.0.0)
• PHP 7.2+ (Breaking change in v2.0.0)
• allow_url_fopen enabled, for Iconify presets, :svg output and importing icons from CSS
• A writable cache folder (system/user/cache), the SVG icons are cached there

For ExpressionEngine 6 and lower the download contains a legacy package in the legacy folder (ee_reinos_iconfont-v1.3.0-2.zip, version 1.3.0).

Installation Instructions

• Upload the files to the right place
• Install the module in Add-Ons → Modules

Update instructions

• Backup the Files and the Database
• Remove all old module files (both system and themes)
• Place the new files in the right folders
• Navigate to the module page and trigger the update process, by clicking on the "module update" button

Updating to 2.0.0

• Version 2.0.0 requires ExpressionEngine 7. Update ExpressionEngine first; on ExpressionEngine 6 keep using the legacy package.
• Font Awesome presets now load Font Awesome 6 Free instead of the Font Awesome 5 Pro CDN. Stored values like fas fa-home keep working. If you use Pro styles (light, duotone), add your Kit url to the preset, see CP Presets.
• The fonts of your presets can now be loaded on the frontend with the css tag, so you don't have to hardcode the stylesheet urls.
