Broken links

Add-ons → Wyvern → Broken links lists the links in Wyvern fields (also in Grid and Fluid) that point to something that does not exist (anymore):

Page {page_url:ID}	the page is no longer a page of the Pages module or Structure
Entry {entry_url:ID}	the entry is deleted, or it has no url (no page, no Preview URL and no Channel URL in its channel)
Template {template_url:ID}	the template is deleted
File {file:ID:url}	the file is deleted
File {filedir_N}name	the upload directory or the file is deleted

Click the title to open the entry and fix the link. Filter on type, channel and keyword, choose how many links are shown per page, and sort on every column. Export broken links downloads the filtered list as a CSV file (separated by ;). Links to other websites are not checked.

The index

The page reads an index of the links, so it stays fast on large sites.

• Click Rebuild index once after installing or updating. It goes through all entries of the site in batches of 200, with a progress bar, so it never runs into a time limit.
• After that the index is updated when an entry is saved or deleted.
• Rebuild it again after changing content outside the control panel, for example with an import.

The notice at the top shows when the index was last rebuilt.
